Droid In The Dark is a collection of Android applications dedicated to analog photographers working in the darkroom. In the field, it`s sometime hard to visualize which lens to use and how to place the camera, especially with a large format. Using the ViewFinder, you are able to see how each lens you have in your bag will look like on your camera and it`s much more accurate than framing with fingers. To process your film with consistency and accurate timing, the Film Processing Timer keeps track of the developer, emulsion and agitation that you like to use. When in the middle of the development process, it will indicate when to start and to stop the agitation and for how long you should develop. To control print exposures, the F-Stop Timer provides a complete f-stop timing solution, where complex dodging and burning sequences can easily be defined. Synchronization with the enlarger can be done manually with audible trigger or with the Enlarger Bluetooth Adapter. Once the perfect exposure sequence is found, the NoteKeeper can be used to save the print exposure in a database, allowing quick and effortless reprint. The NoteKeeper is also designed to keep track of all the process steps needed to create a print. This includes the camera used, the developer type, temperature and duration, the paper used, toned or not, etc. While these applications work well together, they can also be used separately.
